Your role at a glance

You will assist the Company Secretarial function in providing a full governance and company secretarial service to Legal & General Investment Management (Holdings) Ltd and its subsidiaries (the “LGIM(H) Group”). This is a good introductory or early career role for someone at the start of their company secretarial career and will offer a wide range of experience across a highly regulated business.

The key responsibilities for the role will include:

Supporting the Company Secretarial function to deliver first class governance and company secretarial support to the LGIM(H) Group, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory obligations and that all board procedures and guidelines are followed.

Provide board support to the LGIM Company Secretarial team including but not limited to: Board/Committee meeting preparation and organisation; meeting scheduling; drafting agendas, skeleton minutes and action schedules; requesting and collating board/committee papers and preparing packs for upload to Diligent.
Support the Company Secretarial function to deliver an annual calendar of company secretarial activity, including but not limited to conflicts of interest annual reviews, subsidiary accounts preparation and sign off; annual governance reviews and director training.
Assisting the LGIM Company Secretary and Head of Secretariat in executing strategic governance projects and the on-going improvements to governance standards across the LGIM(H) Group.

Supporting the company secretarial function to ensure that the LGIM(H) Group maintains an appropriate governance framework including maintaining appropriate delegated authorities, Committee Terms of Reference and Matters Reserved for the Boards.
