As a Technology Business Manager / PMO Analyst within the IT function, you will be joining a rapidly expanding part of the Legal & General business.  You will be responsible for engaging with the function to provide guidance and expertise in business management processes, templates and reporting. You will be supporting the management of the overall function by creating and providing management information and analysis to enable senior stakeholder decision making, and provide appropriate governance controls across the function. Energy, creativity and a collaborative approach are key behaviours that underpin this role.

Creation of IT Weekly Newsletter

IT People Meeting

Maintain IT "People" - update SharePoint with names details dates - Adding new starter details, create profile on SharePoint, update managers, leavers, contract extensions, change of CC, etc. Includes updating Org chart, True Up, IT People spreadsheet (includes duplication of People data onto the latter)

Education & support for new starters

Run timesheet report weekly & weekly timesheet chasers

Baseline Respository reconciliation

Arrange Brown Bag lunch speakers

Verious ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

Ideally, degree level qualification or equivalent

Knowledge:

Demonstrated experience in supporting best practice business or PMO/change functions and services.

Strong Excel MI analysis & reporting skills (pivot, lookups etc).

Very good understanding of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Experience in supporting process change and understanding of process improvement models.

Understanding of Risk Management processes, Benefits Realisation planning and monitoring.

Skills:

Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and presentation skills in order to influence internal and external stakeholders

Very strong attention to detail

Ability to self-manage and work in a dynamic environment

Strong collaboration skills including working with IT technical specialists to translate technical concepts into lay terms

The ability to manage and benefit from virtual meetings, with limited reliance on face-to-face meetings

The willingness to embrace new technologies and influence other parts of the business to adopt

Relentless drive towards paperless working, wherever possible

The willingness and ability to work without the constraints of a fixed office or desk location, focusing on outcomes and benefits, rather than tasks and measures

This role is suitable for agile working. This means we would consider a more flexible working arrangement, where your hours and work location are managed according to business, customer and personal needs. For this role, you would be based in our Hove office, but you could work in other Legal & General offices or at home, as necessary, provided this meets business needs.
