We are recruiting for a Business Relationship Analyst in our Cardiff offices

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Proactively engage and build relationships with LGIM's service providers.
  • Provide efficient and effective support to LGIM maintaining continuity of contact wlth key stakeholders and LGIM service providers.
  • Co-ordination of service provider reviews
  • Co-ordination and production of management information relating to LGIM's service providers.
  • Monitor and challenge reporting provided internally and by service providers.
  • Analyse/interpret service providers Ml and establish relevance to LGIM.
  • Prepare presentational data for review meetings.
  • Thorough understanding of all key issues with providers so as to manage their resolution.
  • Drive and oversee the resolution of issues by liaising with the appropriate LGIM areas.
  • Report to Senior Management on a formal and regular basis, service standards being achieved, concerns/issues and proposals for enhancing all aspects of the relationship.
  • Draw on Industry initiatives to improve LGIM processes. Engage with various vendors to promote LGIM initiatives where applicable.
  • Ensure key stakeholders are receiving a service which meets their expectations.
  • Responsible for sharing market Information to relevant internal departments. Identify issues/changes which impact teams across Investment Operations/LGIM, initiating projects/working parties where applicable.
  • Identify areas where the service providers could provide additional services in order to support our current and future business needs.
  • Influence service providers to continuously raise service standards in order to meet our expectations.
  • Review Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to continuously monitor fee levels ensuring fair value for money.
  • Operate across the LGIM group and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Maintain technical capability for job, keeping abreast of market and industry developments including attending industry and networking events & forums Initiate change & ability to challenge the status quo
  • Take ownership & responsibility to maintain and improve the  service provision provided by the suppliers and particularly where issues arise

Ideally, the successful applicant will have extensive fund knowledge and a proven track record in the following:

  • Thorough understanding and in depth experience of all aspects of Investment Management
  • Previous experience of working in a Relationship Management function is essential.
  • Effecting, managing and driving change within an organisation.
  • Proven track record of dealing with and influencing across an organisation.
  • with the following personal qualities:
  • Highly developed communication / presentation skills.
  • Highly developed influencing and persuasive skills.
  • Good analytical and written skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrable relationship management skills.
  • Innovative and creative
  • Ability to present to senior management
