An exciting new role for a Senior Communications Executive to support with the delivery of strategies and tactical plans to drive communication improvements that enhance the customer experience in a cost effective way.

  • Plan, co-ordinate and support the engagement initiatives across the LGIM DC Workplace Pension division, linking in with business area leads to support their ongoing engagement approach whilst identifying and driving improvement activity to our communications
  • Effectively implement and co-ordinate initiatives within our own communications programme
  • Attending as deputy for the Communication Manager where required, in various meetings or projects.  Working with other Workplace Marketing teams as required, delivering cross team projects. Budget administration and monitoring for own projects managed
  • Taking a proactive approach and coming up with new ideas on a regular basis; taking a test and learn approach to drive continual optimisation
  • Building effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. Work with specialists areas including those within Product, Investment, Brand, Approvals, Legal, and Compliance teams to produce industry leading communications both online and offline
  • Liaise with marketing agencies and third party suppliers including fulfilment houses and printers ensuring quality output is delivered, to timescale and within budget
  • Manage the evaluation and analysis of data/Insight supplied internally and via third parties, using this to interpret and predict trends, reporting on this and adjusting plans accordingly
  • Define, agree and work within the appropriate budget required to achieve plans, particularly focusing on opportunities for cost efficiencies

Qualifications:

  • Graduate calibre or equivalent
  • A professional qualification relevant to the role is an advantage
  • Previous experience in a similar  marketing role, ideally within a financial services environment is preferable

Knowledge:

  • Broad understanding of different media, audiences and their needs for effective communications
  • Ability to adapt communication styles to suit the audience and messaging
  • Experience of delivering multi-channel communications within a multi-site environment, to inform, engage and inspire
  • Experience of working utilising Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge and experience of key marketing tools, such as content management systems, marketing automation software,  Adobe and social media management tools
  • An awareness of the regulatory framework and practices in place for Marketing/Communications within a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to work in a dynamic environment where your work has an impact to the company's long term success

Please note this role is initially offered as a 6 month fixed term contract or secondment, with the possibility, but not a guarantee, of extension.
