A fast paced and autonomous role within our award winning Mortgage Club Business. This role is homebased but will require nationwide travel.

You will recruit, develop and manage the relationships with a number of our major key account intermediary firms plus actively seek and develop new business relationships in agreed geographical area in order to maximise sales and future opportunities. You will  own specific propsotions for the Club, including research of market, due diligence of providers, launch and ongoing management in order to expand choice for brokers and profitiability for Club

  • To host and manage the agendas, content and speakers of roadshows, events and broker conferences, including speaking, chairing and hosting event.
  • To work with internal stakeholders and senior management  to promote and develop these propositions.
  • To identify and influence key external stakeholders to improve support for the propositions. This includes Government, Trade Bodies, Housing Associations, Builders and lenders.
  • Manage and develop a range of Mortgage Club interemediary relationships
  • Own and develop the full relationship with members of the key account panel, including advisers, for all Mortgage Club business, including protection and GI
  • To actively seek and develop new business relationships in agreed geographical area in order to maximise sales and future opportunities, mortgage, GI and protection
  • Represent Club with PR and press comment where necessay.
  • Work closely with wider team, and internal departments to share ideas and create added value

Experience

  • Significant experience in UK Financial Services and Mortgage market is essential
  • Demonstrable in growing business and sales development within the FS market 

Knowledge

  • Detailed knowledge of the UK mortgage market is essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of implications of regulatory change impacting on housing and mortgage markets
  • Working knowledge of Legal & General financial services offering (not essential)

Skills:                             

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaborative skills.
  • A confident presenter.
  • Analytical, numerate and data orientated.

Travel Expecations: Whilst national coverage is required, the majority of travel for the incumbant of this roles will be based in the South region of the UK.
