A great opportunity to join us as a home based Relationship Manager - responsible for performance management and forecasting, relationship management, product and proposition development and management of regulatory change.

  • Robust and accurate forecasting fed by in-depth monitoring of all distribution waterfall metrics, to ensure that new business targets are achieved.  Coupled with use of experience and foresight to predict headwinds and opportunities to ensure plans are in place to mitigate or capitalise as conditions develop.
  • Optimise performance to retain market leading position, developing a collaborative relationship with internal Pricing teams to ensure that performance analysis is fundamental to pricing strategy.
  • Support and provide inspiration and idea generation to internal scrum teams to create a healthy pipeline of new and innovative ideas to drive transformation within the aggregator distribution.
  • Own relationships with assigned Aggregator Partners, to ensure smooth running of accounts and delivery of volume and revenue growth, profitability, and long-term account retention while ensuring that relationships operate on a truly strategic level.
  • Delivery of new relationships and management of the launch of new aggregators and support the delivery of new products/development/brands on existing aggregators to negotiate suitable commercial and contractual terms
  • Ensure that the Insurance business is aware of any existing or changes to, compliance, regulatory and company standards as well as market changes and to manage any process or contractual changes required.
  • Management of internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate support for key initiatives.
  • Negotiate and implement changes in terms of trade to optimise benefits for the Partner, their customers, and for Legal & General.
  • Suggest product and acceptance limit and partner question-set changes within the pod to ensure external perspective is considered to best fit the changing needs of the distribution and customer transacting in this space.
  • Ensure that technical issues impacting distribution performance or partner-related processes are identified through effective performance analysis and partner dialogue and escalate effectively and appropriately to protect both performance and aggregator relationships.
  • Understand the market and regulatory landscape to ensure adherence to appropriate compliance, regulatory and company standards and manage the changes alongside any commercial dis-advantages.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for strategic projects impacting the aggregator distribution, ensuring that all internal and external impacts are considered by the project teams.
  • Develop and manage accounts to ensure business relationships and development activities are in line with L&G's Customer Experience and Treating Customers Fairly Policy.
