This is an opportunity to join a fast growing digital team working on innovative digital products across business areas within Legal and General group. The team includes Research, Analytics, Design, Test and Development capabilities as well as Product Ownership of key digital assets.

As an automation analyst, your responsibilities will be in quality assurance space, developing and implementing test automation using the right tools and frameworks to drive better results. Key responsibilities include:

 

Responsibilities

Create the test automation strategy covering the various QA phases and approach to drive automation.

Define / recommend automation frameworks and tools to integrate and work efficient with our application stack.

Drive automation initiative within the team by rolling out automation through BDD approach, where applicable.

Develop, execute and maintain test automation suites for our systems.

Work with the product owners / business to help with creation of BDD feature files where applicable.

Support the scrum team with the integration of automation framework, trainings on automation and driving the automation initiative.

Work with other QAs in the team and carry out manual testing where required.

Identify required improvements in the test and development processes; make contributions to our automation tools that address specific needs.

Maintain a quality in a complex and constantly evolving workspace.

• Strong test automation experience.
• Good understanding of SDLC, role of QA in the end to end lifecycle and automated QA processes in agile environments
• Strong Experience in architecting test automation frameworks from scratch for Digital front end applications developmed using HTML, CSS, Javascript, Angular JS, etc
• Experience on automation tools, technologies, techniques not limited to Selenium WebDriver, TDD, Cucumber / BDD (Gherkin), Jenkins (CI/CD)
• Experience of tools commonly used in Agile environment JIRA / Confluence 
• Testing applications deployed on cloud environments such as AWS
