We are looking for an an Origination Executive in our London office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the UK Pension Risk Transfer team focusing on new business development and client interaction.

  • In partnership with the Head of Origination, drive engagement with the key decision makers within our target market, such as company Finance Directors, Group Treasurers, Pensions Managers, Chairs of Trustee Boards, other trustees and their advisors. Demonstrate engagement with these targets through pricing discussions, other analysis and training sessions with the objective of guiding them to market and positioning L&G to capture the business.
  • Support the Core, Strategic and Solutions teams in covering EBCs and other stakeholders; help them engage proactively with all stakeholders to manage the more immediate pipeline.
  • Establish and support our existing interactions with various LGIM teams, such as CRMs, sales and solutions.
  • Analyse and filter scheme data to ensure appropriate MI exists in terms of client mappings, interactions and follow ups as well as develop and support the origination part of our Deal Management System (DMS).
  • Demonstrate visible external leadership for PRT, including external conferences, articles and other thought leadership.
  • Support our marketing activities through development of our strategy (in coordination with the Marketing Manager as well as the Core, Strategic and Solutions teams), management of our budget and delivery of the agreed initiatives.
  • Lead internal knowledge share sessions on business development activities, the market and new innovations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  and exceptional networking skills are essential.
  • Proven sales experience and/or presentation skills are desirable.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills, with a proven track record of leading on complex projects within short timescales are desirable.
  • Strong understanding of pension schemes and how they work.
