Group Digital is seeking an experienced senior IT professional to manage a rigorous governance model in a fast paced, agile digital technology and services environment. The Head of Digital Technology & Supplier Governance will have extensive experience and knowledge gained from within the Finance industries of Technology Risk, Infrastructure, Operations, Networking, Application Management, Telephony Solutions, Supplier Relationship Management, Contractual and Commercial agreements, Service Management,  IT budgets and IT resource and the SDLC.

Group Digital is seeking an experienced Digital Operations & Technology Manager, with a strong Digital/IT pedigree to manage a Technical Team with Day to Day Operational responsibilities for Infrastructure, Information Security, Supplier Relationships & Problem Management

Setting the vision and direction for operational service and design the Operations & Technology Manager will look across the Group Platforms to enable a best in class service to meet those needs.

The Information Security landscape is fast evolving and this role will be pivotal in ensuring this remains an area of strength for us.

Appropriate selection, management and auditing of IT supplier services, delivery and costs is critical to the role alongside ensuring the correct monitoring, reporting and DR provisioning is in place to ensure services and systems are available to meet business needs.

Experience:

Strong Digital pedigree

Manageing Senior Stakeholders

Knowledge:

Financial Services Background specifically in Life and Pensions insurance

Asset and Liability mgmt. understanding

Change/Transformation management disciplines

Extensive IT Operational knowledge

Extensive IT Infrastructure knowledge

Extensive knowledge of Supplier Management disciplines

Extensive knowledge of IT Risk and Controls

Extensive Commercial and Contractual knowledge

Skills:

Proven track record of managing a multi-vendor IT model

Proven track record of managing large (£5million+) commercial and contractual negotiations

Proven track record of having managed an IT Risk function across a large organisation

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a senior stakeholders and a broad range of individuals across various disciplines 

Senior Leadership presence; ability to comfortably interact with all stakeholders (board, customers, employees, partners, suppliers)

Track record of strong  leadership and employee engagement

The willingness to embrace new technologies and influence other team members to adopt

Relentless drive towards paperless working, wherever possible

The willingness and ability to work without the constraints of a fixed office or desk location, focusing on outcomes and benefits, rather than tasks and measures
