We have an exciting opportunity to join our Mature Savings business on a fixed term contact until June 2019, to lead the design and implement the Communications, Engagement and Wellbeing Strategy and Plans. This is a rare opportunity as we go through significant change over the coming months.

Lead the design, implementation and sustainability of the Mature Savings Communications, Engagement and Wellbeing Strategy and Plans. Review, feedback and develop on an on-going basis.

Identify and deliver engagement and wellbeing initiatives in line with the agreed plan across Mature Savings. Seek feedback and monitor success of initiatives. Use this to demonstrate individual and business benefit, as well as making recommendations for the future. Ensure we are keeping abreast of the external market for best practice on engagement approaches.

Own, develop and agree the content for local and divisional communications and initiatives including (but not exclusive to) the quarterly business presentations. Ensure there is visibility of communications at all sites including maintaining our intranet pages and updating posters.  

Manage and review the survey and responses as well as general feedback to identify and manage initiatives which will help to increase levels of engagement and performance.

Regularly liaise with and support stakeholders at all levels within Mature Savings on both BAU and special projects including providing content for and sending out Executive cascades. Establish and build relationships across the Legal and General Group at all levels to ensure good understanding of local plans and activity to balance the needs of the business and other group wide activities. Ensure the TCF policy is adhered to at all times.

To act as a representative for Mature Savings on current and future group wide projects, including writing and delivering content for communications.   

Represent Mature Savings at all relevant communication and engagement forums.

Manage the communications budget within Mature Savings and assist HR with managing the wellbeing budget. Track spend and provide regular updates as required.

Qualifications:

A Levels or equivalent (A-C)

Desirable – Media/Communications/Marketing Graduate

Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including creative writing

Excellent planning and time management

Experience:

Digital media and varying internal communications experience and techniques including social media, intranet etc

Managed and delivered successful engagement, wellbeing and communication initiatives
