We are currently recruiting for a customer consultant (12 month fixed term contract) to join our Customer Tracing Team within the Technical Operations Area of Mature Savings. The job entails the use of several different tracing tools to pro-actively find customers that have been classified as ‘gone away’ due to various reasons. The team communicate with customers via letter, email and telephone following strict guidelines for identification and verification due to the nature of the process as well as using social media to support the existing tracing tools used.

Core hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

The job entails the use of several different tracing tools to pro-actively find customers that have been classified as ‘gone away’ due to various reasons. The team communicate with customers via letter, email and telephone following strict guidelines for identification and verification due to the nature of the process as well as using social media to support the existing tracing tools used.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the tracing, accurate identification and verification of our customers for all products that fall within Mature Savings. This will include tracing customers, identifying/verifying the correct customer, updating systems, working both manually and alongside the customer tracing MACRO/robot, sending out letters, dealing with complex enquiries, reuniting customers with  unclaimed assets, training and quality checking the work of others.

Skills Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Ability to use initiative when tracing customers that are classed as ‘gone away’
  • Good understanding of social media to assist with the tracing process.
  • Knowledge of Legacy systems and functionality, e.g. Unipen, FPF, Conventional and Unit Life.
  • Good knowledge of Mature Savings products.
  • Ability to communicate with customers via telephone, email and written correspondence
  • Ability to work to a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Attention to detail and the highest standards of accuracy essential.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and create trust.
  • Able to manage a very busy workload using multiple systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
  • Commitment - to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to meet the requirements for keeping in touch with our customers as part of the Legacy Thematic review
  • Good understanding of unclaimed assets and how this fits in with the tracing process.
