We are recrutiing for a CMS Producer to work as part of the Group Web Team, the role holder provides first-line support and content entry support to all business areas that access the CMS platform.

Working as part of the Group Web Team, the role holder provides first-line support and content entry support to all business areas that access the CMS platform. You will be involved in a wide range of activities, including relationship building with stake-holders; prioritising workloads, gathering and understanding requirements; training users on systems and driving the overall quality improvements to our websites and digital applications.

Facilitate global cross-functional communication around all web production activities.

Help to manage key tools and processes such as content management, code repository, static assets and image hosting.

Use CMS platforms to manage online content and assist content authors and editors.

Work with IT/Development teams on requirements gathering, issue logging and tracking and ongoing maintenance of all websites.

Help with the testing and launch of desktop and mobile websites for all business areas.

Assist with web production process definition, optimisation and implementation.

Working with teams on project launches using agile.

Web Usability – creating new pages with the best practice in the mind.

Migrate content from legacy systems into new CMS.

Ensure all content changes are logged using highly governed processes, workflows and task tools.

IT & Systems

Broad CMS platform experience (enterprise and open source)

A strong interest in and passion for technology, web design and user experience

An understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive web design

Previous experience of working in a full life-cycle development environment, providing business analysis and technical specifications through to development and testing.

Customer Awareness

A supportive, communicative and collaborative approach to working in a team

An understanding of the different drivers and needs of customers, distributors and partners

Business & Industry

An understanding of key organisational structures, frameworks and core processes

An understanding of digital/web development or product delivery

Qualifications

Educated to degree level or demonstrable experience in CMS/software development (e.g. projects on GitHub)

Specific Experience

HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Some experience using JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. JQuery)

Some experience in server side programming would be useful (e.g. Java, C#)
