This is a great opportunity to join a new team and be a part of our growing Workplace Pensions Operation in Cardiff.
- Investigate, analyse and model business processes and information flows using appropriate analysis techniques in order to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Propose solutions (including automation), identifying alignment with business requirements, making recommendations to business managers taking into account costs, benefits and risks.
- Document process change requirements using the agreed standards, methods and tools ensuring consistent high quality output.
- Ensure that all proposed business changes are formally mapped back to strategic goals and have documented risks, which are reviewed and managed. Challenge the current approach to enable/enhance delivery as and when required.
- Contribute to effective communication processes appropriate to the audience situation and the desired outcome in order to manage the smooth delivery of change. In addition, ensure that key stakeholders are engaged in business improvement activities and the adoption thereof.
- Assist in defining, planning and reviewing project deliverables through the project lifecycle to ensure they meet business requirements.
- To identify evaluate and raise change risks, issues and dependencies that may impact project deliverables, proposing mitigating actions where appropriate.
- Define, develop & deliver processes & systems to ensure a consistent and good level of service that means customer expectations are met, is consistent with what we have communicated and is aligned to L&G’s Treating Customers Fairly policy.
- Specific Experience
- Lean – Value / Failure analysis, Process mapping, activity sampling, KPI management, total productivity maintenance and sustainability.
- Track record of producing deliverables as part of process change projects that have significant customer service improvement or cost reduction impact.
- Experience of Process Automation / Desktop Automation.
- Analytical Thinking
- Acquiring understanding of a problem or situation by breaking it down systematically into its component parts and identifying the relationships between these parts.
- Business Analysis Techniques
- Apply techniques, which help in modelling and understanding a business and its operation. Examples: functional business models, statistical process control, relational data modelling, use case.
- Corporate, Industry and Professional Governance
- Familiar with standards associated with the practitioner's current Role. Examples: End to end, product development model, Group policies and procedures.
- Information Modelling Tools
- Familiar with tools and techniques (manual or automated), which can be used to document an understanding of the structure, relationships and use of information within an organisation. Examples: information usage model, entity model, class diagram, relational data model, data flow model.
- Organisational Awareness
- Understanding the hierarchy and culture of own, customer and supplier organisations and being able to identify the decision makers and influencers in order to successfully implement target-operating model.
- Information Capture Techniques
- Proficient in the selection and application of information gathering methods, tools and techniques which are appropriate to the information required and the sources available. Examples: contextual enquiries, focus groups, structured interviews, questionnaires, observation, statistical analysis.
- Industry knowledge
- Knowledge of financial services market e.g. L&G strategy, regulation, distribution model, products, products and propositions.
- Cultural Change
- Take into account overall/broad impact of bringing about change and what else needs to be incorporated in to the change transformation exercise.
