Legal & General are currently recruiting for an Asset Data Delivery Manager to oversee the monthly data load as well as plan and help execute a roadmap of process improvements.  This includes improving automation and straight through processing, including EUC/Excel tools, ultimately reducing the length of the various reporting cycles.  

Manage a team of four to five people responsible for Asset Data Delivery.

Execute all processes within policy and standards, ensuring compliance to several control and risk frameworks, effectively driving down operational risk around the financial reporting processes.

Plan and help execute a roadmap of process improvements, improving automation and straight through processing, including EUC/Excel tools, ultimately reducing the length of the various reporting cycles.

Actively manage and oversee the monthly asset data load for the EC, investment reporting and Pillar 3, and all other relevant work streams by ensuring reliable & accurate asset feeds.

Work closely with the other teams in Risk Analytics to supply quality and timely data as input to several processes (EC, SII, ALM, WARF, Liquidity Monitoring etc).

Work closely with other teams in Risk Analytics and LGR (and L&G Group) to achieve the goals of the division/organization. Manage stakeholder expectations as and when required.

Ensure ongoing reporting of KPIs, Controls and other reports are up to date. Ensure Spreadsheets are continuously assessed for appropriateness and standards.

Liaise with LGIM on data quality and timely matters, working with them to resolve any issues and suggest ongoing improvements. Monitor any controls in place and raise operational risk breaches where required.

Measure and monitor reporting KPI’s, OLA and SLAs, manage the relationships with up- and downstream customers and stakeholders.

Ensure the suite of documentation for all processes is updated and compliant with regulatory and internal standards. This included runbooks and operational guides for all processes.

Manage the operational risk around processes, people, and data. Liaise with internal and external audit, and monitor and remediate audit recommendations where required.

Support the change process by scheduling and supporting SME availability and testing resources from the production team.

Manage the PCS team’s training, development and other HR needs.

From time to time, own or manage small projects relevant to the delivery of asset data to LGR and other L&G departments

Knowledge of BAU and the necessary attitude towards Live Production systems

Strong asset knowledge, and knowledge of asset IT systems essential

Strong managerial skills, managing a divers team of SMEs

Strong mathematical and quantitative skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong analysis and problem-solving skills

Good presentation skills

For this role, you would be based in our London office, but you could work in other Legal and General offices or at home, as necessary, provided this meets business needs.
