As part of the Access Control Team within LGR IT, the role holder will work with Line Managers throughout the business unit, System Owners, Third Parties, IT and Operational risk, ensuring that I&AM is administered in accordance with the L&G Group and LGR I&AM policies and standards.

As part of the Access Control Team within LGR IT, the role holder will work with Line Managers throughout the business unit, System Owners, Third Parties, IT and Operational risk, ensuring that I&AM is administered in accordance with the L&G Group and LGR I&AM policies and standards.

  • Execution and facilitation of Joiner, Mover and Leaver process for LGR across all business units, working closely with the line managers
  • Adherence to group and divisional standards for I&AM and data classification to ensure we are compliant.
  • Co-ordinate LGR systems access provision to third-parties and regularly review
  • Scheduling and supporting the recertification of access rights for LGR applications and unstructured data (including LAN and SharePoint)
  • Scheduling and supporting the timely completion of application User Access Manuals that support access control
  • Risk assessment of the completed User Access Manuals against the I&AM policies and standards
  • Scheduling and supporting the security testing and re-testing of all LGR applications and infrastructure as per the LGR policy standards
  • Reporting of agreed metrics to Stakeholders
  • Reporting Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators to the Technology Risk manager
  • Proactive and continuous improvement of processes and controls based on analysis of metrics,
  • Identifying and raising control failures as risks with appropriate reporting
  • Ensuring audit logs are retained
  • Working closely with the line managers with set up of role definitions for user access ensuring segregation of duties is maintained.
  • Working with other L&G division’s Access Control Teams to enhance processes and data collection when policy changes occur
  • Creating and maintaining operational guides
  • Enhancing and strengthening of I&AM processes in line with policy and business change

Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background or equivalent role experience.
  • ITIL version 3 Foundation desirable

Knowledge:

  • Demonstrable experience of executing complex processes ideally relating to Identity and Access Management
  • Demonstrable experience of interfacing with other teams
  • Experience of working to Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Experience of managing and monitoring schedules (e.g. for recertification)
  • Experience of working with third parties

Skills:

  • Good analytical skills to identify and document new processes and the ability to produce reports at both high level and lower level of detail
  • Proficient with MS Office tools
  • Identification and impact analysis of risk
