To ensure that L&G complies with all of its contractual requirements with all of our counterparties, so that all relevant reports and payments are supplied to them in the agreed form and within the agreed timescales.

  • Providing post-sale monitoring, calculations and payments relating to monthly and non-monthly reporting requirements for LGAS’ reinsurance, longevity and collateral arrangements to ensure they are created in a timely, efficient and proactive manner, in compliance with LGAS’ contractual obligations
  • Working with Senior Analysts on the move from modelled to live claims reporting for all new schemes, as required, to ensure that the move adheres to LGAS contractual obligations in all respects
  • Providing the highest level of support to clients both internally and externally to ensure that all enquiries are resolved in accordance with the relevant SLAs
  • By working closely with colleagues within the CRIS team and in other client services teams, support in the testing and documenting of all processes to ensure all are appropriate, consistent, in line with the requirements for UK PRT and aligned to wider processes.
  • By following agreed processes and filing convention ensure that a full audit trail of all benefit and data items throughout the lifecycle of the customer is maintained.
  • Ensuring all internal customers and any relevant third parties are kept updated in a timely fashion on any key information which impacts their processing to enable them to treat the end customer fairly
  • Mathematical / Statistical / Financial Degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience in this field
  • Understanding of defined benefit pension schemes is beneficial.
  • Understanding of reinsurance is beneficial.
  • Has a knowledge of the following legislation and remains compliant: GDPR, Money Laundering, Complaints, Treating Customers Fairly, and Breach guidelines
  • Has a strong understanding of the risks to their team, and the business. Actively takes steps to reduce these risks.
  • Highly customer focused and understands the need to maintain and improve relationships with both internal and external customers. This includes policyholders, scheme members, legislative bodies, third parties and your colleagues within the whole of L&G.
  • Able to provide an accurate and cost-effective service by getting it right first time.
  • Intermediate user experience in MS Excel
  • Strong background in data management / manipulation
  • Ability to manage tight timescales, prioritise own work or escalate if necessary
