Are you a Data Protection Analyst looking for your next move?

We’re currently looking to hire a Data Protection Analyst to join Legal and General. This fantastic role acts as a Data Protection subject matter expert within Group Technology where you’ll provide day to day support and guidance for the effective implementation and assurance of the Group Data Protection Policy as well as support adherence to the Group Technology risk & controls framework within the Digital & Experience team

  • Supporting adherence to the Group Technology risk & controls framework within the Digital & experience team, including the identification, assessment, measurement and reporting of enterprise and process risks
  • Providing timely support to the identification and quantification of Data Protection risks arising from new business activities or strategic initiatives including PLM governance activities where applicable
  • Maintaining the departmental risk registers, risk maps and key controls, related to data processing activities. Assess the impact of emerging risks on the profile of Group Technology enterprise risks
  • Supporting the management of departmental issues/actions to ensure robust audit trail and documentation
  • Being Responsible for pro-active communications to the department on data protection, data risk management, routine production and analysis of risk management information
  • Facilitating departmental risk forums, maintaining audit trail and following up on agreed activity. Identify issues requiring escalation and support the development of pragmatic mitigation plans that balance cost, customer experience, risk and compliance
  • To hit the ground running in this role you’ll have strong practical Data Protection experience and experience of conducting Data protection impact assessments
  • Expeirence in regulatory, operational and conduct risk, preferably in a financial services environment
  • Facilitation of committees/meetings and experience of production of MI Packs and dashboards
  • You’ll have strong GDPR knowledge essential, GDPR qualification desirable
