We are currently recruiting an Operational Resilience Analyst to join our growing team. 

In this role, you will support the Group Operational Resilience Manager in developing and embedding the operational resilience operating model across the LGAS business units and working with divisions to ensure maturity. 

You will also support the Group Operational Resilience Manager in ensuring the operating model is developed and run in accordance with Group Policy and Procedures, market convention, adhering to the relevant regulations and within LGAS’s risk appetite. This includes providing planning and support to ensure that detailed oversight of the operational resilience activities across Group Functions is maintained. In addition, you will support the LGAS owner in maintaining visibility, reporting and awareness of OR matters, across LGAS and the Group.

There will be an expectation of occasional travel to our Hove-office for the successful candidate. 

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of the Group level OR Framework, standards, controls and policies and the templates/documentation & tools underpinning these so as to ensure adherence to regulatory policy using OR Tooling as required.
  • Responsible for supporting the promotion and maintenance of Operational Resilience awareness & training documentation & imperatives across the organisation including the oversight and assurance of the OR managed service, as needed by the divisions across LGAS.
  • Leading and advising on the development, maintenance, testing & oversight of the Central Incident ManagementPlans to ensure that the business continue critical operations during and after any incident in an orderly and timely way.
  • Organising the production of Group regulatory artefacts, ensuring they are analysed, reviewed and taken through appropriate governance in required timelines.
  • Supporting the definition and collation of management information on the status of operational resilience capabilities across the Group, in order to provide oversight to the executive committee on regulatory adherence.
  • Supporting the Group OR Manager with the management and coordination of group wide incidents ensuring that incident logs and lessons learned are actioned and remediated.
  • Leading on the management and oversight of the group wide mass notification cascade tool including data management, user access, oversight of cascade notifications, management of training tools and materials conducting awareness training as necessary.
  • Responsible for ensuring Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles are met with regards to operational resiliency activities
  • Ideally you will be a member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI) or the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) or have equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Operational Resilience
  • Some knowledge of industry standards (ISO27001, ISO22316, ISO22301, ISO31000, BS11200, ISO27001)
  • Some knowledge of enterprise risk and control frameworks and resilience risks relating to business operations, technology platforms, digital channels, third parties and cloud-based services
  • Knowledge across the following resilience disciplines: Business continuity, Incident and Crisis management, Disaster Recovery, Technology Resilience and supplier/vendor management
  • Asset management and/or financial services experience preferable
  • Knowledge of the financial regulatory environment with knowledge of the recent operational resilience requirements
  • Fully competent in Microsoft applications 
  • Insight into Crisis and Recovery during significant events and major operational outages.
  • Experience preferable within a similar function within the asset management, banking or financial services industry
  • Involvement in crisis and recovery during significant events and major operational outages
  • Empathetic with a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written formats
