This role is required to support the volume, complexity and urgency of all tasks resulting from market events on the Corporate Actions team whilst allowing a existing staff subject matter expert to be seconded on a fulltime basis to the STOM project. This backfill is required to allow for services to the business and our clients to be maintained and that any potential financial loss is mitigated where possible.

  • Supporting the Corporate Actions team by contributing to the investment operations strategy and working collaboratively with manager/team
  • Continuously examine and evaluate departmental processes and procedures to ensure client service is maintained by prioritising work input/output.
  • Maintain robust service levels to key stakeholders.
  • You’ll represent the team/department in a professional manner, understanding and anticipating the business needs, developing good working relationships with all internal and external parties.
  • Working with end to end understanding of team’s tasks and how they relate and impact to all processes, ensuring standard ways of working are applied consistently.
  • You will be evaluating the system integrity to ensure its robust and trusted in order to support the departments objectives, enabling an efficient operational service delivery in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ideally previous experience in investments or asset management, or a strong interest in this or a keen-ness to learn
  • Ideally some financial services experience 
  • Strong experience of operations (oversight and processing controls/knowledge).
  • Proven experience of dealing with and influencing staff/peers and across teams.
  • Strong analytical and written skills, as well as presentation skills.
  • A proven track record of being flexible, adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast paced and changeable environment. 
  • Experience of implementing projects & collaborating with teams
