The Commercial Data Analyst is an exciting position within our Legal & General Retail division that would be well suited to either a graduate or someone with prior industry experience. We’re looking for a strong interest in Financial Services, a flair for Data and an eagerness to learn; in return, you’ll be given the opportunity to support our market leading Distribution Quality Management program, learning all the skills needed to become a Data Analyst within one of the most reputable brands in the industry.

You’ll be given all the support and training needed to:

  • Use software to extract, transform and load data onto our cloud architecture
  • Maintain a range of controls used to identify areas of concerns through to fraud
  • Produce the visualisation of analysis
  • Support the reporting schedules so that they meet the requirements of the department
  • Help to provide the wider business with user views so that performance against KPI’s can be viewed and tracked
  • The ability to handle and manipulate data using MS office tools with knowledge of visualisation tools (Power BI/Tableau) is required, with data management software experience (e.g, Alteryx/SQL) desirable   
  • A good eye for detail
  • Conscientious approach to workflow management, evidenced through professional or academic experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Great teamworking skills that will allow you to collaborate with colleagues and other departments.
