We have a unique opportunity for a Digital Business Analyst to join our Digital Product Experience team in Hove!

In this role, you’ll be responsible for product discovery activities and defining and validating User Stories. Working closely with the Product Owner, you’ll help define and deliver the Product Backlog whilst championing an outstanding customer experience.

If you’re a Digital Business Analyst who’s passionate about working within a scrum team, shaping user stories based on customer insight and using performance data to maximise the user experience? Then this is the role for you!

  • Validating user stories using research, data and customer insight to make informed decisions on priorities and focus.
  • Supporting the Product Owner / Heads of in identifying the EPIC User Stories, building and prioritising the product backlogs
  • Working closely with UX Designers to translate user stories into viable product designs and deliver wireframes and working prototypes.
  • Managing and influencing senior stakeholder alignment and communication at various levels across multiple business areas and divisions.
  • Scoping and shaping the analysis approach from EPIC level information at Product Level.
  • Supporting product managers across Group Technology and business divisions, encouraging innovation and the identification of customer-centred journeys and experiences.
  • Providing mentoring & support to other BA’s within the team, and play a core role in the Business Analysis Community of Practise.
  • Must have a strong background as a Business Analyst within an Agile Scrum team and product development environment, with experience in tools commonly used in Agile environment
  • Experienced in conceptual modelling; ability to see the big picture and envision possible solutions
  • Experienced working with senior stakeholders (Heads of, Director level)
  • Experience of working as part of a development team is essential
  • Able to demonstrate supportive, communicative and collaborative approach to working in a team
  • An understanding and applied knowledge of User Experience and Customer Journey concepts
  • Confident working with ambiguity, in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently and be highly self-motivated
