We’re excited to be hiring for a Senior Finance Analyst as a member of the Legal and General Investment Management team. You’ll get the opportunity to join a fast-paced team responsible for creating a centre of excellence in analytics, playing a key role in driving our technological capabilities and development of data analysis tools throughout the division.

The role involves the reporting and analysis of the Financial performance of LGIM, becoming a key stakeholder for FP&A interactions with the LGIM Finance Business Partners and the LGIM business with the opportunity to support in the commercial decision making of the business. This is an excellent role for someone who is highly motivated with strong commercial and analytical acumen.

  • Production of information packs for management, LGIM business units, LGIM Management Committee members, and for Board meetings
  • Provision of analysis and insight for LGIM (delivery against plans, revenues, cost base, resourcing and activities)
  • Performance of ad-hoc analysis and review of areas of financial and commercial focus for the division
  • Involvement in Finance projects, e.g. the implementation of new reporting processes
  • Involvement in the LGIM planning and forecasting processes

 

  • Be a part-qualified Accountant/newly qualified Accountant (CFA,ACMA,CIMA, ACCA ,ACA)
  • Derivatives knowledge
  • Strong Analysis skills
  • Strong Presentational skills
  • Tableau Business Intelligence Tool, SQL Alteryx - desirable
  • Strong business acumen
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and provide informed responses in short timeframes.
