In this role you'll support the Senior Finance Manager (Forecast and Planning) in designing, building, testing and the processing of current and new Anaplan modelling.  Working as part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, this role will play a key part in the financial modelling process which Finance lead on across all of Legal and General Investment Management. 

 

 

  • Contributing to all aspects of Anaplan development – requirements gathering, design and build, UAT, governance and documentation
  • Maintaining and developing current Anaplan infrastructure
  • Configuring and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions, and other model settings to meet business needs
  • Prototyping new ideas and functionality to enhance current Anaplan models
  • Liaising with Finance Managers (and other Anaplan users) in order to understand requirements and develop Anaplan models to meet these requirements 
  • Keeping up to speed with latest product releases on the Anaplan platform, working to ensure that desirable functionality is adopted into the existing and future modelling capabilities
  • Developing standard documentation for the applications, and provide support in maintenance and continuous improvements post model roll out
  • Providing guidance to team members regarding technical configuration, testing processes, etc
  • Training and assisting users on Anaplan on how to get the best from the system, as well as explaining the inner workings where necessary

 

  • You'll hold experience with Anaplan development 
  • A professional services background would be fantastic, however a relevant business position would also qualify
  • You'll enjoy planning and modelling and working with other data technologies to provide business solutions
  • It would be fantastic if you have worked in an agile environment previously 
  • You'll hold skills in Tableau and Alteryx 
  • A passion for getting hands-on with the technology, being highly curious about its use, and the ability to ramp up skills rapidly.
