We're hiring a Distribution Manager to work as an integral part of our Institutional Distribution team with the aim of further developing our AUM and revenues for both existing and new to LGIM clients. You'll focus on and take ownership of our global fixed income clients and will therefore have a detailed understanding of fixed income markets. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing and well regarded team within the business, in a position where you'll gain exposure to both our UK and international areas and products. 

  • Growing a pipeline and contributing to delivery against revenue and AUM targets for the Institutional business
  • Identifying opportunities across both existing clients and new clients and driving through an agenda to secure further revenue
  • Responsibility for internal and external stakeholder management for consultancies for your asset classes
  • Leading research meetings with consultants to achieve or maintain buy ratings across product sets, working closely with distribution and investment team colleagues
  • Responding to internal and external queries, requests for information and data, and resolving queries fully and efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships around key business areas at all times
  • Detailed technical understanding of Fixed Income markets
  • Knowledge of UK pension fund liabilities and assumptions, with knowledge of current investment markets and economic issues
  • Experience within the investment management industry including providing an exceptional level of client service and sales support
  • Demonstrable track record of dealing with external clients and building significant relationships with external contacts up to and including senior levels. You'll ideally have an established external investment consultant network
  • Technical understanding of different fund structures
  • A CFA or IMC qualification
  • Excellent client skills and relationship management skills with a proven competence and credibility in pitching and closing
  • Ability to tailor the content and style for audiences with different levels of sophistication, with a passion for simplifying as appropriate
  • A collegiate, proactive approach
