Do you have an understanding of data modelling and physical database design? Do you have a data background with good knowledge of Investment Functions?

We’re currently recruiting for an exciting Data Integration Support Analyst position working within Legal and General Investment Management

  • Maintaining the integrity of systems/services within the remit by fully investigating all incidents and resolving them in a timely fashion
  • Providing technical support and advice to users. liaise with other IT staff  or with external providers as required to resolve complex hardware and software problems
  • Facilitate new code transition into production, including review of code against standards and adequate technical documentation for transition into service
  • Proactively highlighting potential capacity, performance or operational issues and take preventative action where necessary
  • Undertaking trend analysis and highlighting repeat issues and taking responsibility for resolutions
  • Ensuring all documentation is appropriately maintained and easily accessible in the knowledge base
  • Participating in on-call rota to support high priority issues arising out of hours
  • Contributing to technical platform solution design by attending development meetings
  • Developing ETL bug-fixes and small enhancements to existent BAU processes and applications
  • For this role you’ll have worked in a similar role ideally, you’ll have been in an ETL support or development role for data-warehousing from an Asset/Fund Management background.
  • You’ll be able to demonstrate that you can design or develop complex ETL processes and identify areas of optimizations
  • You will also have a good working knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ

  • Demonstrate experience in testing, debugging and performance tuning of ETL processes
  • You’ll be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge in SQL including stored procedures, analytical SQL and query tuning
