As the Head Cloud Strategy and Governance you'll take responsibility for working with stakeholders to drive cloud adoption and cloud governance across Legal and General. You'll provide management information to ensure the benefits of cloud continue to be delivered efficiently and in line with the business strategy.

  • Establishing relationships with key stakeholders and business partners across all business divisions and Group to effectively manage the Cloud Business Office and its virtual members
  • Leading and directing the development of the Legal & General Cloud strategy developing and maintaining a multi-year plan that the supports the needs of business divisions and the group 
  • Establishing the Cloud Business Office as a virtual membership team in line with the cloud operating model
  • Managing the holistic risks of cloud, setting controls and reporting at the appropriate governance forums
  • Developing strategic and innovative partnerships with key cloud partners and suppliers
  • Owning and developing the cloud community 

 

 

  • This is a leadership role, so it goes without saying you'll need to take the lead in all matters with regard to the management of colleagues 
  • You'll have significant knowledge of leading Cloud initiatives in a large complex organisation, 
  • Significant knowledge in Cloud services and alignment of Cloud policy and standards to UK regulatory regimes
  • You'll hold knowledge of supplier management best practice, methods and approaches.
  • In a previous role you'll have developed group Cloud policy and standards and enforcement approaches
