Do you have extensive experience as a Business Analyst and an expert in requirement elicitation?

Are you able to work independently and comfortable working with internal stakeholders at all levels?

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Data Delivery team as a Lead Business Analyst. You’ll lead the creation and validation of User Stories and work closely with the Product Owner in defining and prioritising the Product Backlog!

Although the team is based in Cardiff, we’re open to the possibility of remote working for this position.

  • Scoping and shape the analysis approach from EPIC level information at Product Level
  • Supporting the Product Owner / Heads of in identifying the EPIC User Stories, building and prioritising the product backlogs
  • Validating user stories using research, data and customer insight to make informed decisions on priorities and focus
  • Providing assignment support and direction to BA’s including setting the analysis approach and defining the outcomes/end deliverables
  • Managing and influencing senior stakeholder alignment and communication at various levels across multiple business areas
  • Support product managers across business divisions, encouraging innovation and the identification of customer-centred journeys and experiences
  • Strong background as BA within an Agile Scrum team and product development environment
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders (Heads of level)
  • Experience in conceptual modeling; ability to see the big picture and envision possible solutions
  • Expert in tools commonly used in Agile environment JIRA / Confluence  
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Strong SQL knowledge coupled with exposure to Data reporting tools; data warehousing; ETL/ELT toolsets e.g. WhereScape would be desirable
