As a result of continued growth and notable success, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Product Co-ordinator to join us here at Legal & General.

We are seeking to recruit an individual who will support key activities within the Product Management team, and who will ensure our products are fit for purpose; meet customer needs and stand up to regulatory scrutiny.

This is an incredibly exciting role which will equip you with a strong understanding of the protection market, and enable you to work with some of the most talented insurance professionals in the UK.

You will be responsible for producing accurate MI, compiling key risk documents and contributing to strategic projects in order to support the delivery of the Retail Protection Product Strategy.

  1. Develop, monitor and report a wide range of MI to stakeholders in order to support the identification of opportunities and optimise LGIs end-to-end product propositions, customer outcomes and New Business Value Add.
  2. Work collaboratively and contribute in agile scrums to support the delivery of product and proposition developments in line with the Retail Protection Product Strategy, working with cross-functional areas (Finance, claims, underwriting, pricing, servicing, IT & change) to maximise the commercial benefits and customer outcomes of developments.
  3. Produce supporting documentation for key committees to gain approval for product developments.
  4. Support product launches to market by producing sales briefing and training documents
  5. Drive to maintain market leading ranking on key comparison portals e.g. F&TRC, Defacto
  6. Support post-launch reviews through the collation of MI, qualitative and quantitative data.
  7. Support product risk reviews by managing the process across the business to pull together the relevant information in a timely manner.
  8. Always seek to ensure good customer outcomes, in line with Treating Customers Fairly.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE English, Maths and Science (A-C)

Knowledge:

  • Microsoft Office
  • Protection Product knowledge is an advantage
  • MI presentation and report collating knowledge
  • Statistical analysis and story telling around data 
  • Familiar with Power BI, and Excel data manipulation desirable

Experience and skills:

  • Highly MI literate and analytical
  • Curious with an aptitude for learning
  • Organised
  • Team player, comfortable working across a variety of tasks
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
