The Communications Effectiveness Manager will lead a constant programme of improvements using data and insight, to ensure best practice fulfilment to deliver market leading customer centric communications for Legal & General Insurance.

  • Manage the Communications Effectiveness Team to design, analyse and optimise market leading customer centric communications with a strong focus on managing operational costs
  • Manage technical production issues through effective stakeholder management, change management and incident management
  • Manage front door submissions by working with stakeholders to synthesise key learnings and insights on communications performance to drive business cases and ensure that insights are provided to key decision makers effectively
  • Evaluate the effectiveness by using MI and data and optimise our communications by drawing insight from digital analytics to make informed decisions and deliver operational savings
  • Deliver market leading customer centric communications by gaining all the necessary approvals to ensure that they are technically compliant, relevant, managed at expiry and meet regulatory and Treating Customers Fairly requirements
  • Distribute customer communications to ensure accurate version control by maintaining and auditing governance processes, literature libraries and updating stakeholders
  • Prioritise customer centric improvements which remove friction from the customer journey with inclusion considerations and vulnerable customers in front of mind.
  • Previous Communications experience
  • Experience in managing technical production incidents 
  • Cost control management experience
  • Good understanding of design / branding principles, in particular layout, typography, and digital design
  • Understanding of Analytics/Data Manipulation (beneficial)
  • Knowledge of Insurance products (beneficial)
  • Ability to manage and assess dynamic workload.
