The Digital Customer Communications Manager will plan and manage the design, content and production of all digital product and operational communications for Legal & General Insurance. 

  • Plan and manage the design, content and production of all digital product and operational communications which adhere to best practice/brand guidelines
  • Maintain specifications, whilst ensuring effective use of data and rules-based logic, by working with internal and external stakeholder to ensure customer centric communications are clearly defined and articulated to the CCM developers
  • Update the Customer Communications Management (CCM) platform (Quadient Inspire Interactive) with simple changes to communications
  • Monitor industry developments and evaluate the effectiveness of our customer communications using digital analytics to optimise and make recommendations for best practice
  • Deliver communications changes to support any product, customer experience or regulatory transformation to meet sprint deadlines
  • Ensure that all customer communications are technically compliant, relevant, managed at expiry and meet regulatory and Treating Customers Fairly requirements
  • Prioritise customer centric improvements which remove friction from the customer journey with inclusion considerations and vulnerable customers in front of mind.
  • Experience of digital analytics packages such as Adobe Analytics (essential)
  • Proficiency in responsive HTML email design/coding (beneficial)
  • Digital Copywriting experience (beneficial)
  • Understanding of design principles, in particular layout, typography, and digital design
  • Understanding of Analytics/Data Manipulation
  • Understanding of branding principles
  • Knowledge and experience of best practice technology and relevant professional development to ensure industry standards
  • Strong knowledge of digital communication practices and techniques
  • A good awareness of the ways in which customer data is created, gathered, transferred and manipulated
  • Understanding of complex rules-based logic using data.
