We're hiring a Finance Manager to be responsible for analysing and reporting on the finances of Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM) Expenses. You'll be a key stakeholder for FP&A interactions with the LGIM Finance Business Partners and the LGIM business. 

The role will involve championing and driving the use and development of data analysis tools (Tableau) throughout the division.

  • Act as an expenses subject matter expert for LGIM division
  • Control of expenses base, through understanding and challenge with management
  • Performance of ad-hoc analysis and review of areas of financial and commercial focus for Management Committee members and L&G Group Business Performance
  • Production of Management Information for LGIM business areas, LGIM Management Committee members, and for Board meetings
  • Provision of analysis and insight for LGIM (delivery against plans, cost base, resourcing and activities)
  • Involvement in Finance projects, e.g. the implementation of new reporting processes
  • Involvement in the LGIM planning and forecasting processes
  • Potential opportunity for management and development of 1-2 finance analysts
  • ACMA, ACA,CFA, ACCA, CIMA 
  • Strong Analysis skills
  • Strong Presentational skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Quick learning
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and provide informed responses in short timeframes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tableau Business Intelligence Tool, SQL, Alteryx (desirable)
