Are you a Business Analyst or Test Analyst with experience working on Data Projects within Investment/Asset Management?

We’re are currently recruiting for an Analyst to join Legal and General Investment Management’s Engineering Team. This is an exciting opportunity that will see you support the Index Fund Management team, implementing system changes and integration with the new Strategic Data Platform!

  • Collaborating with the Product Owner, Business Users and scrum master to ensure the highest priority items are being addressed
  • Collaborating with the Index product owners and the feature teams to ensure that software delivered/implemented meets the most important business needs
  • Driving and managing agreement of business requirements and technical requirements with the relevant business and technology teams
  • Creation of a Product Backlog from ‘Epic’ level business analysis and design down to detailed ‘User stories’ Ensuring developers and testers understand each story prior to any development effort starting
  • Taking ownership of design workshops; leading development team towards finding solutions which are captured within the user stories
  • Ensuring defects and changing requirements are tracked and managed through project lifecycle
  • Participating in the daily scrum to ensure the whole team are kept informed of their work
  • Providing training and support to end users to facilitate adoption of the application/new features
  • Extensive experience as a Business or Test Analyst from an Investment Management background with good working knowledge of Trade Lifecycle
  • You’ll demonstrate strong experience of full project lifecycle
  • Sound understanding of IT software and infrastructure
  • Front Office experience and knowledge of Index Fund Management
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge with experience in using SQL
  • You’ll demonstrate experience in querying and manipulating data in Investment Management and be comfortable with data mapping
