We have a newly created opportunity for a MI Data Analyst with excellent Excel skills to join our Retail Distribution team. You'll understand and monitor our client and fund performance data on key data platforms in the market, and seek out new sources of MI and intelligence which will support our ambition of achieving growth in revenue and assets under management.

  • Identifying and managing strategic solutions to deliver automated and market leading digital data exchange, developing and maintaining databases utilising internal and external data sources
  • Responsibility for the external provision of fund information to enable key clients of the retail distribution and international distribution team to accurately analyse and report on the full range of LGIM’s regulated funds 
  • Identifying and owning digital solutions which enable the accurate and scalable dissemination of data.  Building quality checks and clear audit trails for the verification of data on third party platforms
  • Ensuring accurate and complete information is shown on LGIM’s third party data providers such as Financial Express. Managing the service standard relationship, conducting regular quality assurance checks and reviews
  • Sourcing information internally, working with stakeholders in teams such as fund operations, data vendor management and client reporting to complete client requests for information
  • Understanding of the retail asset management industry in the UK and Europe, and the role of distributors and fund platforms
  • Experience within a data environment beneficial
  • Extensive experience of excel including macros with experience of Tableau. Experience of Python will be advantageous however not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a curiosity about data and the market/industry
  • Proactive, with the ability to create new ideas and suggestions 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate data trends and ideas 
  • Comfortable with picking up the phone to speak with suppliers when required
