You'll be proactively supporting the day to day operations of all post execution activity in relation to Private Credit/Direct Investment transactions undertaken by LGIM Real Assets as well as contributing to building out the function needed to support a high growth area of the business. 

This is a recently created team that has significant growth plans which provides a great opportunity to improve the efficiency of processes supporting the team to build a scalable, robust target operating model that is aligned to LGIM’s overall business strategy.

  • Ensuring all Private Credit deal bookings are correctly captured within internal systems and subsequent deal lifecycle events are processed in line with trade specifics
  • Monitoring and reconciling interest and principal repayments against cash received into LGIM’s reconciliation platform TLM ensuring these are posted within the internal accounting system to ensure timely settlement
  • Communicating and escalating any disputes to front office and working with them to resolve these in a timely manner and communicating with custodians and couriers in order to transfer deal specific notes in line with CASS6 guidelines
  • Performing daily reconciliations between LGIM and Custodians on stock positions, and performing payment tracking where applicable and working closely with custodians to ensure all cashflows settle as expected
  • Co-ordinating with other operational areas/teams to ensure new deals are supported in line with current operating model
  • Collating and distributing MI/KRIs in relation to Private Credit and involvement in operational control meetings
  • Proactively proposing future operating model considerations and improvements to existing workflow as the team move to a `best in class` standing, proactively identifying opportunities, regardless of size and scope, to improve the Private Credit Support team
  • Working collaboratively with your supervisor/manager fostering credibility and influence towards developing a reputation of operational excellence across the firm, share best practise with peers, creating an awareness of issues throughout the department.
  • Previous experience within either a Derivatives Fixed Income Trade Support function or Settlements/Cash management function
  • A good understanding of the Asset Management Industry, technologies and regulation, with an understanding of cash accounting rules for statement and ledger entries
  • Knowledge and experience in transaction workflows and processes with an understanding of the front to back lifecycle
  • A self-starter who is able to manage time, prioritise work, and pay attention to details
  • Excellent organisation, analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to work and think independently under time constraints
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, with an ability to successfully articulate issues clearly and robustly, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders, managers, and subject matter experts, building positive and productive relationships.
  • MS Excel, MS Access and VBA skills preferred, and experience of using TLM / Quasar / Swift Alliance is desirable
