The purpose of this role is to identify, implement and manage processes and process improvements to ensure an effective outsourced Real Estate Operations function.  The role is designed to ensure that the control framework around delivery of managing agent information runs as efficiently as possible and supports the overall business strategy as well as supports the requirements of the fund managers and LGIM Investment Operations Fund Accounting.

 

'- Assist with advising / instructing the panel of managing agents to ensure operational finance procedures relating to budgeting,

'- Assist with design and monitoring of control environment which ensures all controls around data input, reporting from managing agents 

'- Assist with monitoring performance and carrying out KPI reviews of panel of managing agents and internal Fund Accounting team.

- Assist with take on/transition of new managing agents across the Real Assets platform

'- Manage the various processes around transfers of approved expenditure from LGIM to Managing Agents

- Deputise for Head of Finance Operations

- Assist data services team with preparation and analysis of financial data within MRI system

- Provide support to the front office team during and after any new finance operations system implementation process

- Assist with creating standards and procedures and communicate these clearly to external parties.

- At least 3 years' post quailified  accountancy experience

- Experience of the design and monitoring of a control environment

- Experiecne of workinng with a front office team

- Experience of process review or tranformation highly desirable

- Experience of change management / process review highly desirable
