We're hiring for a Private Credit Pricing SME to join our Private Credit Pricing Team, with the aim of ensuring that all held Private Credit instruments are accurately priced on time on a daily basis in line with business requirements globally. This is a critical function which is fast paced and deals with all aspects of Private Credit pricing; providing an efficient service to the internal teams and clients.

  • Independently running valuation models for Private Credit instruments, ensuring the calculation of the assets is accurate and in line with terms stated in the transaction documentation.
  • Challenging official valuations and investigating discrepancies and disputes, helping to produce Management Information and identifying trends in pricing issues and IPV coverage.
  • Working with our business partners in Private Credit (specifically, the Portfolio Management team and Investment teams) to understand the terms and conditions of particular assets.
  • Ensuring that new business risk is accurately captured so that all private credit valuation platforms provide accurate pricing calculations.
  • Acting as the first point of escalation for respective day to day issues, ensuring adequate actions are being taken to address and resolve the issues.
  • Proactively seeking to improve and streamline existing controls and processes, participating in projects including the development and deployment of process automation solutions and centralising data storage.
  • Previous experience working within a fast paced pricing/valuations function, with familiarity with trade documentation and processes gained in leading investment bank or asset manager.
  • A solid understanding of fixed income debt structures and features (e.g. day count conventions, Floating Rates etc.), with a strong preference for experience of inflation-linked instruments (e.g. indexation ratios).
  • Strong PC skills particularly Microsoft Excel are required, with the ability to write VBA / macros desirable.
  • Experience in financial modelling using Bloomberg.
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast paced and changeable environment.
  • An ability to prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines, with the ability to work collaboratively with others and the wider team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communications.

Whatever your role, we reward ability, performance and attitude with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Our employees have a wide range of benefits including a generous pension scheme, life assurance, at least 25 days’ holiday (with potential to rise to 26 days), private medical insurance, performance related bonuses, a variety of share schemes, discounts at both a huge range of high street stores and our own great products. Your hard work will be rewarded when you join us.
