Exciting opportunity to join our Product team as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for driving and developing the Product Management component of LGIM's global product platform, ensuring that each of our products delivers positively throughout its lifecycle for our customers, as an investment proposition (both operationally and commercially) and in line with regulatory standards.

  • Delivering and developing LGIM’s Product Management process, ensuring that each LGIM product is fully managed from the completion of implementation through to the end of its lifecycle
  • Managing required product changes to ensure effective implementation.  Ensure that all communications, meet regulatory and commercial timescales
  • Managing required product risk, fund and thematic reviews, ensuring these are completed in line with LGIM’s Product Process.  Regularly reviewing and developing processes according to business need
  • Delivering and continuously developing the target market and appropriateness framework, ensuring that each LGIM product is designed with customer outcomes at the forefront
  • Providing product technical support on matters such as regulation and tax on both an on-going and project basis so our existing products meet the needs of our customers. This will include support for external communication materials delivered through various media along with support for customer communications
  • Managing and ensuring the development of regulatory documentation and communications, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are accurately incorporated, prospectus changes are delivered and governance oversight is provided
  • Building and managing key relationships with internal teams and external customers, to ensure an understanding of the Product Management function and adherence to all relevant policies and procedures
  • Maintaining and continuously gaining knowledge of the regulations surrounding products and product structures and the application of regulatory guidelines to product literature, marketing and advertising
  • A strong track record of delivery in a product management environment
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of the asset management industry including investor types, distributional channels, the competitor landscape and a good working technical knowledge of investment products across pooled product structures (including UCITS and non-UCITS) in UK, Ireland and Luxembourg
  • Previous experience in launching, registering, operating and amending pooled investment funds
  • Comprehensive knowledge of product life cycles and the role of product management and governance within that cycle
  • Must be delivery focused and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate high attention to detail, with high levels of resilience  
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to write compelling reports and documents, the ability to negotiate at a senior level, both internally and externally, and to successfully chair meetings with senior stakeholders present
  • Strong presentation skills including the ability to articulate and convey concepts to a senior audience and ideas to an audience in a clear and compelling manner
