In this role, your Azure knowledge will provide the foundation for our transformation. Cloud is our future and this role will be at the forefront of our migration.  

  • Taking on technical ownership of our Azure Cloud strategic programmes and managing the Production releases  
  • You'll work with functional teams to translate the roadmap into releases and to build and maintain the Application deployment pipelines, ensuring code contention is maintained  
  • Create and maintain the Portfolio Roadmap for Cloud Strategic programmes
  • Responsible for scheduling, planning, and controlling the software's development and delivery process
  • Responsible for handling the DevOps team to ensure services are delivered on time and released to production
  • Plan the release of project deliverables and release life cycle and communicate these plans across teams
  • Coordinate the release schedule and resources required 
  • Identify the risks, track progress and resolve any issues to improver the quality of the release 
  • Make improvements in the methodologies used for configuration management and development of software that helps to find ways to use in configuration management
  • Release and Configuration management experience
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines
  • Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies (inc Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban)
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
  • Team management/leadership skills
  • Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system (L&G knowledge is preferred)
  • Project management skills with knowledge of presentation
  • Problem-solving and analytics skills
  • Understanding of ITIL processes
