We are looking for Salesforce maestro to lead the ongoing technical development of our salesforce.com deployment, working closely with functional leaders, organisational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop and deploy new business processes through the customisation of the application. This role would particularly suit someone who can utilise the tool to its full potential!

  • You'll be responsible for the development of customised solutions within the salesforce platform by frequently communicating with internal stakeholders and analysing the business needs to ensure fitness for function
  • You will undertake the designing, coding, testing and implementation of salesforce applications to ensure quality within the system and meeting the specifications required by the business
  • Manage the salesforce environments, ensuring the stability and functionality of the platform and provide metrics to demonstrate failure areas which inform improvement plans, proactively mitigating any downtime or systems errors with project plans and areas of strategy
  • Manage salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations, through specific applications, connectors and API calls, keeping the information up to date and relevant enabling the sales team to carry out their activity
  • Responsible for the exploitation of the platform to advise in all functionality, features and benefits that could enable plan and ensure the business gets maximum benefit 
  • To work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements, sharing your expertise in a collaborative manner in order to maximise delivery
  • To work with the CRM Administrator to ensure the security of the salesforce platform

Qualifications: 

Degree or higher education qualification in Computer Science or equivalent will be an advantage.

Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritises simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce.com engineer.
  • Salesforce.com Platform Developer I certified (or achieved within 12 months).
  • Experience of Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning components, force.com and custom settings.
  • Experience of Sales Cloud, both classic and lightning versions, and Pardot is essential.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.
  • Strong data management abilities.
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred.
  • Demonstrates logical and lateral thinking considering all angles in their decision making.
