As a Test Lead you will play an important role in the Group Finance IT, function by ensuring the provision of key Testing Services to support the IT Portfolio of change.  You will work closely with leaders across IT Engineering & Delivery function, and Group Finance to ensure that changes to existing and new GFIT applications, services are appropriately scoped and assessed. 

  • Making sure that all testing products and processes are developed in accordance with best practice testing principles for both services and applications
  • Leading the test team to ensure compliance with the agreed test methodology and standards 
  • Proactively managing any third party testing partner relationships 
  • Leading motivating and developing employees at all levels 
  • A background in Finance and Actuarial Systems would be desirable but isnt essential
  • You'll have sound knowledge of testing methodologies and approaches 
  • You'll have outstanding test lead experience and proven track record of providing and developing testing services in a change / project / operational environment
  • You will have experience working with and managing relationships with external suppliers to achieve common goals
  • In a previous role, you will have experience with introducing test automation is desirable
  • Ability to engage with people across a broad range of levels
