In this incredible role you will lead the IT Product Owner function!  You will manage technical discussions across the Product Groups and provide suitable challenge and advice on the “art of the possible”, whilst making sure that solutions provide robust operational processes. A key part of the role leading and defining how the IT Product Ownership functions adds value and engages with the rest of the business. 

  • Leading the team to collaborate and engage with the Business Product Owner/s
  • Driving Technical Requirements (Functional / Non-Functional) making sure they are validity, robustness and fitness for purpose
  • Introducing agreed enhancements in a way that allows stakeholders to influence and support decision making
  • Keeping stakeholders updated on progress and identifying continuous improvement opportunities
  • Managing and leading colleagues 

 

  • Naturally you'll have knowledge of a IT Product Area and you will knowledge of the management and change associated with Product development in and IT / Engineering operation
  • Knowledge of at least one of the following: Finance Systems, Actuarial Systems, Insurance industry
  • You will have worked in a regulated industry
  • Experience of working closely with and influencing project sponsors and project teams to understand the implications of options in relations to developing solutions
  • It goes without sating you'll have proven ability to build successful working relationships and networks
