The MI Analyst will support with producting and distributing LGSS trend information to important stakeholders, and produce live operation efficiency reporting. You'll have an analytical mind with a knack for numbers, and plenty of enthusiasm and autonomy in the role. You'll need some experience/exposure to creating MI and working with large volumes of data, however training for specific systems can be provided.

  • Produce and distribute management information to internal and external stakeholders in accordance with business and individual stakeholder requirements
  • Make recommendations using MI and trends analysis to help improve business processes, propositions and client delivery through identification of opportunities
  • Support the key infrastructure and databases to ensure all transactional and MI data is accurate and fit for purpose
  • Participate in and provide support for project management services to ensure projects are carried out timely and in compliance with project requirements
  • Investigate, analyse and review business MI functions, systems and processes to identify areas requiring improvement including quantification of potential business benefits
  • Propose solutions, identifying alignment with business MI requirements, making recommendations to business mangers taking into account costs, benefits and risks
  • Offer advice and guidance to colleagues including where required, providing coaching and development of others such that understanding of system opportunities and capabilities are developed and deployed throughout the organisation.
  • Some Management Information experience (essential)
  • You'll need to be an autonomous, analytical thinker with a mind for numbers
  • A keen desire to undertake any formal or informal qualifications or training required for the role.
  • A good understanding of the Surveying market (beneficial)
  • The ability to run and lead on a variety of data-led projects

Systems

  • SQL or relational database concepts (beneficial)
  • Database management related qualification (MCSA, MCSE etc.) (beneficial)
  • SAP Business Objects,Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Excel experience (beneficial)
  • Microsoft Power BI (beneficial) 
  • Data Warehouse experience (beneficial)
