We are looking for a Lifetime Mortgage Model Change Manager to join our London based team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Change Delivery:

Adopting the Product Owner role for developments in reference to the Lifetime Mortgage (LTM) valuation and stress models

Providing support to the Risk Analytics and LGR IT teams for ongoing planning and resource demand, test strategy required to demonstrate meet business acceptance criteria

Leading the LTM development team through release cycles which includes a small group of actuaries and IT developers

Reviewing and approving deliverables before delivery to ensure requirements are met

Business / Technical Analysis:

Provision of demonstrations, workshops, pilots and conceptual product discussions to enable requirements development

Provide leadership to team members and customers on complex issues surrounding Life, Pensions Liability and Asset modelling and methodology under various financial reporting and regulatory metrics

Manage the system and process changes impacting Risk Analytics through ensuring delivery of good business and technical analysis, technical knowledge and requirements specifications into the Risk Analytics software development process

Manage and co-ordinate input from other technical experts within Group, LGRI business and IT teams

The quality of solutions in meeting requirements –  business test deliveries to ensure they successfully meet project requirements

Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain relationships across LGRR, LGRI and the wider business to ensure their requirements are delivered within time, budget and to an appropriate level of quality, ensuring the deployment of necessary business and technical knowledge to support the delivery

Technical Expertise:

Use subject matter expertise to act as the bridge between the business teams requesting changes that will impact Risk Analytics processes and systems and the business analysis, quantitative and IT teams delivering the necessary changes.

Conduct Risk / TCF:

Ensures that the principles of Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) are embedded into your day to day operations to deliver good customer outcomes at all times. Ensure that all business processes and internal controls within your role are designed and performed in a way that delivers good customer outcomes and demonstrates effective management of Conduct Risk.

  • Proven ability to address and use initiative to deliver solutions to technical and business problems
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to review results for reasonableness
  • Proven experience in software or database systems development and/or support with experience of project life cycles
  • Experience of leading the implementation of reporting models and tools, and derivation of new pricing / risk management algorithms
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience of working with Business and IT architects, Quantitative/Solution Financial Engineers, other IT colleagues to deliver change
  • Ability to self-manage and work in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to steer stakeholders to reshape business problems to solutions that can be solved with available technology
  • The ability to manage and benefit from virtual meetings, with limited reliance on face-to-face meetings
  • The willingness and ability to work without the constraints of a fixed office or desk location, focusing on outcomes and benefits, rather than tasks and measures
