We have an opportunity for a Planning & Delivery Analyst to join our LGRRI Customer Services area in Cardiff.

  • Ensure the fair treatment of customers, through the development of robust operational plans that enables the effective and efficient deployment of resource against forecast demand. Deliver resource solutions that are a key enabler to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Support Customer Service Leaders to manage daily work demand ensuring our customers receive excellent, and consistent, levels of service whilst recognising the development and training needs of our people.
  • Through the use of best practice procedures, produce resource scheduling plans for all LGRRI Customer Services functions that reflect the impact of all planned strategic, tactical and commercial activities as well as the development needs of our people and our contractual obligations to them. Contribute to the LGRRI (Cardiff) Business Continuity Plans to ensure a continuous business operation in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
  • Produce and analyse management information, presenting insight to allow the Leadership Community to make decisions based on sound information and fact. Stakeholder management is critical to ensure that all data packs are completed to a high standard and on time.
  • Develop and deliver recruitment plans that ensure the operation is optimally and efficiently staffed. Provide relevant support to deliver the plan including raising of VRNs.
  • Ensure that the principles of Conduct Risk are embedded into your day to day operations to deliver good customer outcomes at all times. Ensure that all business processes and internal controls within your role are designed and performed in a way that delivers good customer outcomes and demonstrates effective management of Conduct Risk.
  • Educated to degree level is desirable with evidence of excelling in numerical subjects.
  • Broad understanding of LGRRI products, services and operations.
  • Knowledge of resource planning and scheduling methodologies in a Contact and Admin environment.
  • Experience of using forecasting, scheduling and MI systems. 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong PC, data management/retrieval skills
  • Good commercial awareness.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high degree of energy, drive and enthusiasm.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development including, planning methodologies, process improvement, etc.
  • Experience of contributing to cross-functional business teams is desirable
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various businesses, key support functions, and decision makers across the business
  • Excellent communication skills to create and deliver clear and concise written or verbal reports to peers and Directors
