We are looking for a Investment Reporting Actuary to join our London based office.

The job requires ownership of the production of IFRS and Solvency II reporting metrics with a focus on the asset side of the balance sheet. The successful candidate will be well organised to meet monthly deliverables on a timely basis and at the appropriate level of quality as well as providing analysis and commentary on results. The role requires flexibility to respond to ad-hoc queries and a pragmatic and innovative approach to problem solving as well as good stakeholder management in working with numerous teams as part of the process and presenting results onwards. Valued members of the team will be able to proactively support other reporting activities in addition to business as usual.

The role would also involve management of one or two junior members of the LGR Investment Reporting Team, effectively utilising them in the production of results and in the longer term coaching them to aid their learning and understanding.

Asset modelling experience and IFRS and SII reporting knowledge.

Ability to take ownership of particular areas of work in the team and management of more junior team members/students in delivering outputs.

Proficiency in Excel with R modelling as a big bonus.

Good stakeholder management and effective communication of results.

Pragmatic approach to problem solving and effective prioritising of tasks.
