To develop, deliver, produce and manage a management information and reporting function, ensuring the availability of timely, consistent and well-presented MI, reporting and presentational material as required in order to support LGIM’s Risk & Compliance function.

To develop, deliver, produce and manage a management information and reporting function, ensuring the availability of timely, consistent and well-presented MI, reporting and presentational material as required in order to support LGIM’s Risk & Compliance function.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Working alongside the Global Head of Non-Financial Risk and other stakeholders within the Risk & Compliance leadership team, develop a suite of concise and professional reports and presentations, ensuring consistency of content and presentational style across the whole.
  • Monitor the production timetable for regular MI, reporting and presentational materials required by the Risk & Compliance function in order to ensure deadlines are met whilst allowing sufficient time for production, quality checking and review.
  • Support Ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests as required.
  • Develop appropriate reporting and analysis tools to add insight.
  • Maintain a broad understanding of each Risk & Compliance function and its goals, objectives and key stakeholders, proposing ways in which MI & reporting developments can add value.
  • Manage the maintenance of risk management systems as required.
  • Ensure the production of MI supports LGIM in treating its customers and clients fairly.
  • Manage, motivate and develop employees at all levels, in a manner that is consistent with the Company’s policies and procedures the including Partnership Agreement, to maximise the performance of the area.

Qualifications:

  • A good standard of education is required.
  • A professional qualification in relation to the investment management or financial services industry is an advantage.

Knowledge:

  • LGIM’s business structure in terms of asset classes, geographies, legal entities.
  • The regulatory framework in which LGIM operates globally.
  • LGIM’s position in the marketplace and of competitor firms and market practices.

Experience:

  • Experience of working within a Risk or Compliance function, ideally within an Investment Manager or Retail Investment/Pension Product Provider.
  • Experienced in the delivery of complex management information and professional reporting/presentational materials to a variety of audiences.

Leadership:

Small team line management experience is desirable.

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly competent with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, databases, analytics tools
  • Highly organised. Able to deal with multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Excellent attention to detail and focus on improving second line profile through exceptional content.
  • Ability to proof read with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet challenging deadlines.
