We currently have an opportunity for an MI & Insight Analyst to  join us, to be based in our Cardiff or Hove location.

Develop, build, run and maintain systems and processes to gather information about all workload volumes and SLA performance.

Provide value adding analytics using large date sets to identify improvement opportunities and promote growth.

Provide detailed insight to stakeholders in a pro active manner.

Ensure all reports are issued to key stakeholders on time, every time.

Be responsible for the accuracy and consistency of data across all reports.

Work closely with the operational teams to develop MI solutions that support continuous improvement in employee performance.

Develop a wide knowledge of the Insurance business and use it to integrate different data streams to provide added insight to your audience and increase visibility of the overall performance of the organization.

Work closely with everyone in the Operational Planning team and support all activities by providing insightful feedback that helps us establish the value of our decisions and supports continuous improvement.

Managing existing report builds with the insight to be able to implement changes to help improve visibility to the Operation area upon request.

Operational

A strong understanding of Operational processes, reports and systems.

Ability to translate large and complex data sets into meaningful insight for stakeholders

Data Sets

The candidate should have the ability to work with large data sets and identify discrepancies through complex analysis, You will need to demonstrate the confidence to challenge the information provided where required.

Technology / Systems

An expert in MS Excel, VBA, skills within MS Access, SQL, TSQL, Power BI, PowerPoint

Communication skills

Effective, concise and professional communication and presentation skills. Ability to tailor complex information to the appropriate level for an audience in order to gain buy in to proposals or concepts, you will also show a level of excellence in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Analytical and logical thinker with the ability to apply creative solutions to achieve a desired outcome.

The ability to work well under pressure and manage your own workloads to deliver on deadlines within agreed time frames.

Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency in extracting prerequisite date from disparate internal systems
