The Liability Data Analyst will take responsibility for operational data management within Data Cleansing, Data Validation, Data Transformation, Data Integration and Data Mining.

Take responsibility for operational data management within the following areas:

  • Data Cleansing
  • Data Validation
  • Data Transformation
  • Data Integration
  • Data Mining
  • Ensure that high standards of quality (to include accuracy and timeliness) are delivered to the customer.
  • Consult with a range of existing internal LGR customers to understand their requirements in order to deliver the required solution.
  • Support in the testing and documenting of all processes.
  • Ensure all internal customers and any relevant third parties are kept updated in a timely fashion on any key information which impacts their processing to enable them to treat the end customer fairly.
  • Ensure that all processes are created in the most efficient method and allow a full audit trail throughout the lifecycle of all data items.
  • Work with all internal partners to improve the quality of the data held on all systems.
  • Advanced user experience using MS Excel (beneficial)
  • Intermediate user experience using all other MS Office applications
  • SAS experience (beneficial)
  • Experience in delivering best practice MI solutions (e.g. highlight reports, management dashboards)   
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Understanding of project management and test frameworks
  • Understanding of defined benefit pension schemes is highly desirable
