We are currently seeking an experienced Team Manager to join our Workplace DC Pensions business area, in Cardiff.

  • Manage and oversee multiple transactions across a number of functions and all product types (DC Pensions), ensuring cost effective operations that mitigate risk and comply with regulatory and audit requirements
  • Maximise customer advocacy by managing and promoting the Customer Experience and Treating Customers Fairly, putting the customer at the centre of operational thinking so that quality is optimised, the root cause of error and complaints addressed and service excellence achieved.
  • Take the lead in all matters with regard to the management of the team, ensuring consistency with the Group’s policies and procedures, including the Partnership Agreement, to maximise business performance and employee morale and engagement
  • Ensure all team members are appropriately trained, organised and kept up to date with regulatory, industry and product/process changes. Motivate and develop staff through the performance management system to achieve excellence
  • Build and develop relationships with Business Partners and peers to ensure that the business and customer benefits from a sense of ‘one team’
  • Take responsibility for your own development in order to achieve competency at the earliest opportunity and then maintain and continually enhance your own management skill set and knowledge of the investments arena
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive ‘can-do’ approach to your role, promote the achievements of your team and L&GI and act as a role model of the L&G behaviours to peers and subordinates
