We are hiring a Client Implementation Manager to manage the end-to-end implementation of new and existing DC workplace pension schemes using best practise project management methodology and key account management techniques.

Job purpose:

To manage the end-to-end implementation of new and existing DC workplace pension schemes using best practise project management methodology and key account management techniques.

Principal accountabilities:

  • To provide to employer clients, their intermediary if any and to all other interested stakeholders, including identified internal stakeholders, appropriate documentation demonstrating how the implementation project is being managed
  • To work closely in support of other DC Pensions Distribution team colleagues where required to assist in maximising new business opportunities at tender, beauty parade and site visit stages and with the production of opportunity specific project documentation
  • To work closely with DC Workplace Operations colleagues, overseeing all aspects of the implementation process, establishing and managing work streams if required, and ensuring all milestones within the project plan are achieved in a way that takes into account the fair treatment of all customers
  • To ensure full and regular update communication is provided to all parties involved with the implementation – both external and those internal to LGIM - and that all roles, responsibilities and timescales for each project are widely understood.  This may necessitate maintenance of both internal and external facing project plans
  • To work closely with colleagues to ensure implementation and transition process maps and other project management templates are developed and maintained
  • To keep divisional MI up-to-date on a weekly basis with scheme potential, to include expected number of lives, projected APE and evolving timeline and ensure that each project is managed such that it meets its full expected potential
  • To undertake a Post Implementation Review for each project, meeting with or reporting to the employer and/or their intermediary as appropriate, and demonstrating that the future role of the nominated Relationship Manager is fully understood by that individual
  • To maintain a good knowledge of LGIM DC Pensions proposition and processes, and to keep abreast of relevant market activity and legislative developments in order to be able to discuss relevant topics in an informed manner with client and intermediary stakeholders ensuring Treating Customer fairly

Qualifications, knowledge and skills:

Qualifications:

Professional qualifications in relation to the role are desirable for example PMI or Certificate in Financial Planning, and Prince2 Practitioner

Knowledge:

Experience and knowledge of workplace pension product solutions and marketplace

Experience:

Demonstrable communication/presentation skill – previous client facing meeting and presentational experience at a senior level within significant employers and intermediaries/partners is a requirement, as is the ability to articulate and convey information in a clear and compelling manner in writing and in person

Leadership:

Strong Project Management experience
